A blood collection center for patiens with special needs, which also has a baby care room, was inaugurated at the Gazi Hospital.
The opening ceremony was attended by Our Rector Prof. Uğur Ünal, Vice Rector Prof. Hasan Tezer, Secretary General Mustafa Afşar, Rector’s Advisors Prof. Serdar Polat and Dr. Ahmet Bilal Dostbil, Assistant Secretary General Dr. Sena Aydoğan, Dean of the Faculty of Medinice, Prof. Alper Ceylan, Chief Physician of Gazi Hospital Prof. Hakan Atalar, lecturers, along with hospital staff members.
In his opening speech, our Rector Prof. Uğur Ünal said, “ I hope that the new unit of our hospital will be a blessing and I wish you a continued success.”
After cutting the opening ribbon, our Rector Prof. Uğur Ünal toured the center and received information about the center. Rector Prof. Uğur Ünal chatted with hospital staff, and listened to their opinions and suggestions.
With this opening, Gazi Hospital, which is a baby-friendly hospital that supports breastfeeding, has added a new one to its existing baby care rooms. Due to its location on entrance floor, blood collection center for patients with special needs provides accessibility.
