The sixth Social Contribution Seminar organized by our University's Social Affairs and Community Contribution Coordinatorship was held.

Specialist Hülya Silkin from the General Directorate of Water Management of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry participated as a speaker in the event titled "Effects of Climate Change and Adaptation".

The event organized in relation to "Fighting Against Climate Change", which is among the Priority Areas of Social Contribution of Gazi University, was held online.

The program was moderated by  Prof. Dr. Müzeyyen Nazlı Güngör.

In her presentation, Hülya Silkin from the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Water Management, talked about climate change, global warming and their effects in the world and in our country.

Providing information about the predicted results of climate change in the near future, Silkin stated that temperatures will increase and precipitation will decrease in our country by 2100.
