Shanghai Ranking 2023 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) Results have been announced. The Shanghai Ranking rating agency, based on Nobel prizes, research output, and academic performance of faculty members, announces the top-performing 1000 world universities every year. Gazi University continues its successful performance by keeping its place in the 901-1000 band worldwide this year.

Looking at the rankings for Türkiye, only 8 state and foundation universities operating under YÖK are listed in the Shanghai Ranking 2023 ARWU list. Gazi University has once again proved its successful academic performance by placing in the 6-8 band.
