A seminar called "Zero Waste Journey in Universities" was organized by our University's Social Affairs and Social Contribution Coordinatorship. Hülya Çakır, Zero Waste Training and Awareness Manager of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, was the guest speaker at the seminar. The program was moderated by Social Affairs and Social Contribution Deputy Coordinator Assoc. Dr.  Adalet Görgülü Aydoğdu did it.

In her speech, Hülya Çakır touched upon the studies carried out on zero waste in universities in Turkey. Emphasizing the importance of zero waste practice in order to use resources and waste correctly, Çakır invited everyone to practice zero waste.
